Video Settings

To change video device, click on Setup button, and then click on Video tab. If you have more than one capture devices, please click on Video Source to select the capture device, which you wish to use.

1. Video device

  • Video Format:

  • You can adjust the video size by clicking on Video Format, and then select the video size. The actual dialog box may look different, depends on your camera.

  • Video Source:

  • You can click on Video Source to select the camera, which you wish to use. You can also adjust the color balance or brightness of your video.
2. Frame Rate
Enter your desired Frame rate for recording. Decreasing the Frame rate can take less CPU power.

3. Audio device
Select the audio device you wish to use when recording.

4. Digital Video Camcorder
If you record video with digital video camcorder, you can select the recording format. Most of the DV cameras use 12 bit for audio recording. Some new ones support 16 bit audio for high quality recording.

5. Confirm before discarding the recording
Select this option if you want a warning message to appear each time you discard the recording. You may uncheck the box if you do not wish to see the warning message.
