Remote viewing
Watchdog supports broadcasting by
Windows Media and ActiveX. When you click HTML button, you will see the following web page.
Note:
- If you are using Windows Media Player 6, please upgrade
to 9.0 or above.

Audio is only supported when viewing by Windows Media streaming.

For IE/pocket IE, default web page is pda.htm
IE and pocket IE does not support Server Push.
If you are running Windows XP with Service Pack 2, please follow the
steps below.

| Click on the Information Bar and select Install ActiveX Control. |
| | On the following dialog box, click Install.

- Windows Media Streaming
This method supports broadcasting video and audio with better quality. The quality
also depends on your uplink bandwidth. You can double-click on the video to view in
full screen. (Windows Media Player 10 is required for Windows XP.)
Note: If you are
behind a firewall or router, you need to open 2 ports for HTTP and Windows Media Streaming.
- ActiveX
You can click on the video to zoom in, adjust brightness or save images remotely.
To save images, click on the video and select Save images. Click Browse and then choose
a folder to save the images. Click OK. To stop saving images, click on the video and
then select Save images.
To adjust brightness and contrast, click on the video and select Setup.
- To adjust brightness, check Brightness box and move the slider.
- To adjust contrast, check Contrast box and move the slider.
