Running Watchdog as a Windows Service
- Go to Start

Point to Settings

Point to Control Panel

Double-click Administrative Tools

Double-click Services. Double-click Webcam Corp. Service Starter.
- Click Log On tab, select This account box. Click Browse to select an
account or enter a username. Enter the password and click Apply. If you do not
click apply before you start the service, it will fail.
Note: the user must have a privilege to run the service. It is recommended that
you logon as the account and run Watchdog first. The password for the account
should not be blank.
- If you wish to auto start Watchdog during Windows startup, double-click
Webcam Corp. Service Starter on Services. On General tab, select
Automatic as startup type.
Click OK.
Once you’ve finished, please disable Run at Windows start up.
Click Setup and then go to Timer tab. Uncheck Run at Windows start up box.
- Click on VCR, Alarm or Timer button to enable these features.
For example, if you wish to enable Timer, please make sure the Timer button is pressed.
- Please make sure that you have configured Alarm or Timer, if you
enable these features.
- Exit Watchdog

You can select Webcam Corp. Service Starter on Services and click Start button to test. Start IE and
enter the IP address of Watchdog in the location bar. You should be able to view the video.
You'll have to wait for 1 min if you are using trial version of Watchdog.
