Watchdog can alert you when it detects there is no signal from the camera. For example, if the camera's cable is cut or the camera stops Watchdog will alert you by email or phone. To enable signal detection, click on Setup button, and then go to the Alarm tab. Check No signal alarm box and setup Watchdog to do the following when no signal is detected.
You can disconnect the cable to test it. Click setup will stop playing the alarm or the operations defined in Alarm setup when signal lost detected.
This feature does not support USB cameras, but may work with most of the USB video capture boxes.

Play a sound
If you want a sound played when no signal is detected, check the Play a sound box. Click the Browse button to select a sound file. Click Setup will stop playing the sound when Watchdog launches the alarm.
