Please install your camera before installing Webcam Watchdog.
- To install Webcam Watchdog, use Windows Explorer and go to the directory where you've saved Webcam Watchdog.
- Click on wcamdog.exe to install Webcam Watchdog.
- Start Webcam Watchdog after installation. You will see the video when you start Webcam Watchdog. If you can't see the video in the preview window, please click here.

If you wish to run Watchdog at Windows start up, please click Setup and select Timer tab. On the Timer tab, check Run at Windows start up box.

- Remote surveillance
Before you start Webcam Watchdog for remote surveillance, you need to configure Web server first.
- Click on Setup button.
- On the Server tab, check if the IP address in the Webcam server name is correct. You may select an IP address from the list or type in a name/IP. If you connect to Internet via IP Masquerade, you can input the IP address which is accessible from the external network.
- Click OK.
- Click on Web to toggle Web server.
- Click Publish, and then click on Publish and Preview button. Webcam Watchdog will create a web page and bring up the browser to display the webpage for you.
- Your URL is displayed in the browser. Now you can view the webcam page from other computer.
