HTTP Server (Web Server) 1. Webcam server name: Webcam 1-2-3 will detect and display your IP address(es) automatically. You may select an IP address from the list or type in a name/IP. If you connect to Internet via IP Masquerade, you can input your IP address, which is accessible from the external network. (Note: Your domain name or IP address must be accessible from the external network. Otherwise people in the external network won't be able to access to your Webcam 1-2-3 server.) IP address such as 192.168.x.x, 127.0.0.1, 10.0.0.x is not accessible from the Internet. If your IP address is 192.168.x.x or 10.0.0.x, please configure your firewall or router. Before you configure your firewall or router, please refer to the user's manual to check if they support IP Forwarding or Virtual server. Otherwise, you may not be able to access Webcam 1-2-3 from the Internet. For more information, please refer to Network Help. 2. Authorization required: If you wish to limit the access to your webcam page, please select this option, and then enter your desired User ID and password. When connecting to your webcam page, you will be prompted to enter User ID and password.
3. JPEG filename: Webcam 1-2-3 captures image and saves it in JPEG format. You may change the filename of the image. You can decide whether or not to generate the JPEG image file by check or uncheck the "Save JPEG image" check box. Note: Webcam 1-2-3 generates the JPEG image file when the web server (HTTP) is on no matter the check box is checked or not.
