I cannot fast-forward a video. 2. I see blue screen when I start Watchdog. Please check the camera's power cable. If the power cable is not connected, please plug it into the AC outlet. 3. I see blur screen or the image quality is not good when I start Watchdog. Your camera is out of focus. Please adjust the camera focus. 4. I see gray or black image in the video window what should I do. Please click Setup on the Video window. Go to the Device tab and click Video Source. Select correct NTSC or PAL mode for your camera. 5. What camera can I use with WCSP100? ![]() Wireless, IR, color, and black & white cameras with RCA jack video output are all compatible with our digital video recorders and WCSP cards. For cameras with BNC jack video output, you can purchase BNC-RCA connectors to connect the cameras with WCSP100. Note: Mixing different type of cameras is not supported. 7. How to check if WCSP100 is installed correctly on my PC? If you are running Windows 2000 or XP, To start Device Manager, click Start, Settings, Control Panel. Click Administrative Tools. Click Computer Management. Click Device Manager. You should be able to see WCSP100 audio and video Capture devices listed in the Sound, video and game controllers. If you install 2 WCSP100 cards, you will see 2 video and audio Capture devices as the following picture.
8. How do I access Watchdog from the Internet? Your IP address is listed on Watchdog top bar. To access Watchdog remotely, start IE and type in the IP address in the location bar. If you see can't find server message in the browser, please check Watchdog's IP address. To check the IP address go to Start -> Programs -> Accessories ->Command Prompt Enter ipconfig and you'll see your current IP address. If your IP address is 192.168.x.x or 10.0.x.x, please configure your router or firewall to enable port forwarding or virtual server. Your web address is http://your IP address
9. I see white screen when I start WatchdogX. Please install a sound card. To run Watchdog, a sound card is required. 9. How do I output WCSP100 to TV? To output video to TV, you need to use a display card that support TV out. Most display cards with TV-Out function require S-Video cable to connect to TV. (Note: most display cards only support TV-out resolution to 800x600.)
11. How do I delete alarm log? To delete alarm log, click Setup in a video window and then go to Alarm tab. Click Delete alarm log. 12. I see red or green frame around the video screen. What does it indicate? Red frame indicates that VCR is started. You see green frame when motion is detected. 13. I cannot fast-forward a video. Please click Setup on CamCenter of WatchdogX.
