1. Does Webcam 1-2-3/Watchdog work with my camera/hardware? We've tested Intel, Creative, 3Com, Hauppauge, Canon DV, Logitech, 1394 cameras and several major OEM manufactures' cameras. Most cameras support WDM driver which is compatible with 2.x edition of Webcam 1-2-3/Watchdog/WebcamMail. If your camera supports Video for Windows and 24 bit RGB, you can use 1.x edition of Webcam 1-2-3/Watchdog/WebcamMail. To check if your cameras supports 24 bit RGB, click Setup and select Device tab. Click Video format. If 24 bit RGB is listed in Image format, then your camera supports 24 bit RGB.
2. Using ATI Radeon 8500DV with Webcam 1-2-3/Watchdog/WebcamMail ATI Radeon 8500DV may not work properly with Webcam 1-2-3 or Watchdog. If you are using ATI Radeon 8500DV, please make sure you have tested Webcam 1-2-3 or Watchdog and confirmed the software works with your hardware before purchasing. 3. Using Kensington cameras with Webcam 1-2-3/Watchdog Kensington cameras may not work with Webcam 1-2-3 or Watchdog.
