NetCamCenter compression codecs

NetCamCenter supports the following video compression codecs. Please use the codec comparison chart to select the codec. In general, if you favor low CPU usage, need to run a large number of cameras (e.g. 16 or higher), don't need to store many days of video, Windows Media Video 7 and NVC2 could be your choices. You may want to select Windows Media Video 9 for best video quality as long as your PC can handle it. When using NVC2, you'll need to set the encoding bit rate higher in order to get similar video quality compare to other codecs. (3 to 10 times higher)
